Where it all Began, And How I got Here Now

I started my recruitment career over 20 years ago, and I loved it from the start. It wasn’t long before I found myself thinking, maybe I could run my own successful recruitment business. Maybe I could earn more of my fees, do recruitment ‘my way’ and create a brand to be proud of.

Fast-forward to now, and I’ve pretty much ‘done it all’. I’ve worked for large corporates, independents, and I am now on business number three! I’ve had the pleasure of leading an all-female team to six-figure monthly revenues and securing private equity backing!

I started my second recruitment business in 2015 when I had a toddler and a baby in the background. But it wasn’t a case of just clicking my fingers, picking up my laptop and phone, there was so much to navigate. I had to consider my brand and marketing, start-up costs, client strategy and so much more! At that time, I wished I had the support and the know - how to not only lay the foundations for my business but to launch, survive and thrive! And that’s why I’ve launched Hypa Consulting –a home for female-led recruitment companies from solo to sub-5 employees - providing female led recruitment owners with all the knowledge, resources and community to help them thrive and succeed as entrepreneurs.
